Car

The Maassilo doesn’t have an own parking area, in the surrounding neighborhood you will find a lot of parking places, which are free of charge every night from 23:00u till 09:00u. Some of those are also free of charge on Sundays. Besides there are two parking garages within a 20-minute walk:

  • Parking garage ‘World Port Center’ (Important: drive-in closes at 23:30u, drive-out 24/7)

    Costs: €2,50/h (€25 maximum day rate)
  • Q-park Zuidplan (drive-in and drive-out 24/7)
    Address: Twentestraat 10, 3083 BD Rotterdam
    Costs: €2,61/h (€18 maximum day rate)

 

Public Transport

The closest (50m) metro, tram and bus station is called ‘Maashaven’. If you travel from Rotterdam Central Station, the easiest way to reach ‘Maashaven’ is by taking the metro line E in the direction of ‘Slinge’. To check and plan your travel from every other location you could always use https://9292.nl/en.

If you rather like to travel from Rotterdam Central Station to the Maassilo by taxi, taxies will be located at ‘Delftseplein’, east from the central station.

Art Hotel

Art Hotel has a good price/quality ratio and it’s a hotel where you will feel at home very quickly. It’s located 100 meters from the Maassilo at the other side of the metro station ‘Maashaven’. Hostel ROOM

Hostel ROOM is a unique theme hostel located near metro station ‘Leuvenhaven’ (three stops away from ‘Maashaven’) almost at the city centre. It’s possible to book a bed in a mixed dorm, but you could also book a private 2-person room or a private 4-person rooms. All for a price between €18 – €38 per person per night. This hotel has a good price/quality ratio and is located in the city centre. If you’re looking for a cozy budget accommodation within walking distance from Rotterdam city centre and train station: look no further.
