Finally, after two years, our government is letting go of most covid restrictions in The Netherlands. From the 25th of February onwards, large scale events like Rotterdam Rave are possible again. A 1G policy will be in place which means everybody that wants to access an indoor event with over 500 visitors, will need to show a negative covid test. To be clear, it doesn’t matter if you are vaccinated or not. We will update you on the exact rules around this policy as soon as possible.
We received some questions about our daytime events in March. These will happen as planned, daytime from 13.00 til 23.00. Of course we want our indoor events to take place at night but to change a daytime event to a nighttime event on such a short notice is not possible. All artists have their own travel schedules and ravers that are attending the event on Sunday can’t rave at night when they have to go to work on Monday morning.
Only some final-raver tickets are left for the event on Sunday. The Rave on Saturday sold out last November, no extra tickets will be issued for that event.

As other EU countries are opening up and dropping covid restrictions, we hope our government in The Netherlands will follow soon. At this moment all shops and restaurants are open till 22.00. Events and clubs are still prohibited from opening. The current restrictions are in place till the 7th of March. At the moment the amount of people that are tested positive every day is sky high. Last week at least half a million Dutchies tested positive but only a fraction of these people ends up in the hospital.
There are multiple initiatives that ask our government to take action on the disadvantaged state of nightlife in The Netherlands. Besides that the 1G option is being discussed for large scale events. This means that every visitor would need a negative test, wether you are vaccinated or not. The total situation gives us hope the Raves in March can take place. When the situation changes, we will post an update!

Today the Dutch government announced more restrictions due to rising covid cases. Unfortunately this means the Rotterdam Rave Indoor by Day 2021 events cannot take place. All ticket buyers will be refunded automatically. This also applies to TicketSwap buyers. You will receive your refund within two weeks from now.

Due to the announced lockdown in The Netherlands that will be in place for the next three weeks, new refund applications for Rotterdam Rave by Night 2021 will NOT be processed from now on. All refund applications that have been placed in the last few days will be processed as planned in the coming week.
When the Raves planned in December cannot take place due to covid, your ticket will automatically be refunded. So you don’t need to apply for a refund. Also people that bought a ticket via TicketSwap will be refunded for the original price of their tickets.

Yesterday all ticket holders for Rotterdam Rave Indoor by Night received an email about the change in times for this event. This event will now take place by day on Sunday the 19th of November 2021 from 13.00 till 23.00.
Ravers that cannot make it to the event because of the night- to daytime switch, will have till Sunday the 14th of November to apply for a refund. Please look up the confirmation mail by Eventix in your inbox. Forward this mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and change the subject to ‘Refund Rotterdam Rave by night 2021 + your name’. We can only refund full orders, not separate tickets.
We received a few questions about this switch. Please check the answers below:
In the Netherlands it is still not allowed to organise events during the night due to the current national covid regulations.
The Dutch government announced that they wanted to open up the night from the beginning of November onwards. Unfortunately this did not happen as covid numbers in The Netherlands are on the rise again.
When will I receive my refund?
After Sunday the 14th of November, we will start processing all refund applications. From that moment on you will receive your refund within two weeks.
Can I switch my by Night ticket for a by Day ticket on Saturday the 18th of November?
Because the event on Saturday is sold out, it is not possible to switch tickets.
I have bought my Tickets via Ticketswap, can I apply for a refund?
No, at least not yet. For now the easiest way it to just put your tickets up for sale at Ticketswap again.
Depending on the amount of refunds, there is a good chance that new tickets for Rotterdam Rave Indoor by Day on Saturday and on Sunday will become available in one or two weeks from now. Please keep an eye on our socials.
Further information about the current Dutch covid situation is not really positive. Cases are on the rise and the hospitals are having a hard time. Last Saturday (6th of November), new measures have been set by our Government. If these measures do not slow down the amount of new cases, more measures will be announced. This does form a threat for the Rotterdam Rave events in December.
If an event cannot take place due to covid, all ticket buyers will receive a refund excluding service costs.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to cancel Rotterdam Rave Festival 2021. Today the Dutch government decided that large scale events can’t take place. Unfortunately rescheduling the festival is not possible.
We had good hopes that we could finally Rave again this summer and couldn’t wait to reunite. We want to thank everyone for their support and we will come back stronger.
All tickets purchased for Rotterdam Rave Festival 2021 through Eventix and Ticketswap will be refunded automatically (excl. service costs), including shuttle bus and locker tickets. We will contact all ticket buyers this week via e-mail.
If you have a question please don’t hesitate to e-mail us at email@example.com.

Today the Dutch government announced they are looking at the option of canceling all events because of rapidly rising covid numbers in the Netherlands. This means there is a chance our upcoming summer festival will not take place. We will wait for more government information in the coming week. When all the information is available we will decide if we have to cancel our event.

As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet, but we are working hard to realise Rotterdam Rave Festival on 14 August 2021 and Rotterdam Rave Indoor on 18 December. Celebrating life with you in a safe and responsible way is our top priority. At this moment, big gatherings are still prohibited by the Dutch government and the city of Rotterdam has not issued any permits for festivals/ indoor events. This is still an uncertain affair, but we are hoping for the best. We’ve never been more ready to Rave!

Due to the Coronavirus the Dutch government has extended the ‘no events’ measure till the first of September. Therefore Rotterdam Rave Festival 2020 is cancelled. Unfortunately rescheduling the festival is not possible. We are disappointed, but we fully support the government’s decision. The safety and health of our ravers, artists and crew are our first priority.
Just like previous cancelled raves our goal is to refund all purchases that were made through Eventix and Ticketswap for Rotterdam Rave Festival 2020. We expect to provide more information about your refund in about two weeks from now. All ticket buyers will be contacted via email.
If you have a question please don’t hesitate to email us at email@example.com.

All tickets for Rotterdam Rave Spring Special, By Day and Paula Temple’s Noise Manifesto which were bought through our Eventix channels have already been refunded. As promised, also Ticketswap ticket owners will receive a refund. We already transferred the refunds to Ticketswap, they will carry out your refund because of privacy regulations. Due to the current situation Ticketswap experiences a lot of extra work. Together with their payment provider they are working around the clock to process all refunds. Ticketswap ensured us that all ravers will receive their refund before the 24th of April .
If there are any questions or concerns about your Ticketswap refund, we kindly ask you to contact Ticketswap via firstname.lastname@example.org.

First of all, thank you for your patience and for all the positive comments we have received in the past two weeks. Some of you even offered us the money that you paid for your tickets. We’ve also noticed initiatives like ‘keepdancin.nl’ where ravers can fund their favorite organizations. As much as we appreciate these gestures and initiatives, we don’t think this is the way to go for us.
It doesn’t feel right to receive your hard earned money in return for a cancelled event. Especially when a lot of ravers are struggling, losing jobs or have to take care of their family. You have already shown your support by buying a ticket in the first place.
In our situation we don’t believe in vouchers or tickets for future events (basically using you as a bank and your unrefunded tickets as a line of credit). We do believe these kinds of arrangements are essential for smaller/younger organizations and local club promoters. Please support them as they form the gateway for unknown techno talents from your city.
In order to make a refund happen, we would like to emphasize our gratitude to all artists and bookers that were open to see what they could do to help us in this situation. It’s standard to pay all artists four or more weeks before the event takes place. So most artists already got paid for Rotterdam Rave Spring Special, Rotterdam Rave By Day and Paula Temple’s Noise Manifesto.
Because the line-up counts for around 75% of the costs of a Rotterdam Rave indoor event, it’s essential for us to get those paid fees back. A lot of artists have promised to return their fees or already transferred the fees back to us. Unfortunately most bookers are unable to refund booking fees (the part we pay on top of the artist fee to the booking agency). Therefore we will now use every penny we have to refund you your ticket excluding service costs.
You can expect your refund to arrive before the 7th of April. This applies to ‘Rotterdam Rave By Day 2020’, ‘Rotterdam Rave Spring Special 2020’ and ‘Paula Temple presents Noise Manifesto’. You don’t have to do anything, this will happen automatically for all Eventix and Ticketswap buyers. If you have a question please don’t hesitate to email us at email@example.com.
For Rotterdam Rave Festival 2020 the situation remains unchanged. All permit meetings with the safety council of the city of Rotterdam will continue as planned. We will continue working on the festival without making additional costs and do anything to make sure this will be our best rave yet. When this event can’t take place, we’ll refund your ticket in the same way.
We want to thank you once again for your patience and support. In the meantime, stay at home and share your raving spirit online. Because you know, ravers don’t die, we multiply.

The past few weeks we have closely monitored all the developments concerning the COVID-19 virus (Corona Virus). Unfortunately we have to cancel Rotterdam Rave Spring Special and Rotterdam Rave By Day on the 28th of March 2020.
We have put in all of our drive and passion towards Rotterdam Rave Spring Special & By Day. Although we are absolutely gutted about it, the health and safety of our visitors, artist and employees are our first and foremost priority.
Our goal is to refund all purchases. Currently we are working around the clock to try and make this possible. Because a large amount of costs for Rotterdam Rave Spring Special & By Day have already been made we first have to contact all our suppliers and artists – who have already been transferred all their fees – before we can proceed with refunds. All costs we made prior to these events, we will pay out of our own pocket.
We expect to provide more information on this subject in about two weeks from now. When we have more information about your refund, we will contact you via e-mail.
The two other events planned later this year, Paula Temple presents Noise Manifesto and our summer festival, are still on. The situation for these two events hasn’t changed.
If you have any other concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support, we sincerely hope to see you at the next rave!
